Commissioned by the friends of St Mary’s for the foyer of the Western Eye Hospital.

The kiosk was designed as a possible prototype for the NHS, to provide refreshments to out-patients. The functional requirements for the storage, making and display of snacks and drinks meant that every corner of this kiosk had a use, and the challenge was to make that functionality attractive, and to give it a clear identity or brand. The volunteers who run the service were directly involved in its design, and were delighted with the result.
