Howel Evans & Opher Architects was established in Barcelona in 1992 to undertake small design projects and competitions. On returning to London both partners worked with other practices on larger or different projects whilst establishing their own client base. Howel Evans & Opher Architects treat the design process for each project as a one off and research in detail the clients requirements as a generator for design ideas meaning that no project is the same. Although most of our work is private residential we both have a wide range of experience in other areas and can deliver successful projects across many sectors. We work in a hands on way often with models both actual and computer and free hand sketches to explore and explain the process by which we arrive at our results to our clients. We encourage dialogue and discussion at the design stage to assist the client in realizing the project they require within the constraints of legislation budget and programme Based in Vauxhall South London we have undertaken projects as far afield as Manchester, Oxford, Wiltshire, Cardiff and Barcelona.
